Pliers
Jaws on the ))QuickClip(( are fairly short, with medium serrations running out to the tip. A wire cutter section is included, but no hard wire notch.
Handles/Frame
The ))QuickClip(( is a solid handle design with a fixed plier head. (Head does not fold up into a more compact shape.) A brown leather wrap is glued into place on the plier handle, cushioning the grip. When not in use, the handle is held in the closed position by a sturdy bail.
Frame construction is a stack of polished stainless steel plates, riveted together. In this regard, the ))QuickClip(( could be considered a single-layer knife tool.
The ))QuickClip(( has a single, locking knife blade. This drop point blade is half serrated/half plain edge, with a thumb stud to facilitate one-hand opening. The Al Mar Chop logo is artfully engraved and paint-filled on one side.
Locking Mechanism
Liner lock on knife blade.
Other Features
A pocket clip is bolted onto the face opposite the thumb stud.
Sheath
None.
