The One Hand Tool (OHT) from Leatherman is direct competition for Gerber and the Multi-Plier 600 type sliding pliers that Gerber is actually more known for. The OHT is a very heavy duty built tool from Leatherman. The pliers are one hand opening that slide out from one end and you have tools that are both outside opening and one hand opening. A design of what tools are where is stamped onto the handle for easy identification and for each tools location. This tool was introduced in 2012 and it is still in production today.
Jaws

- The OHT has a few Leatherman relatives. The Super Tool 300, Rebar, newer Surge, MUT and Signal all have removable cutter as the OHT does. The Wave, New Wave, Charge series and Surge all have one hand opening tools. The Super Tool 300 and Rebar also have similar cutouts for tool access. The Gerber Multi-Plier 600 and Multi-Plier 400 series have a very similar sliding plier design to this tool as well.
